To reduced the shame that still surround mental illness, people who have this disability should be open about there condition and not be intimadated about what other think. This will help others that have the same mental illness because they will fell that their not alone. Furthermore, people who don't have a mental illness should let the one's that or diagnosed with this illness feel that they have their support. It is very much a shame that we live in a society that doesn't care about the well being of others. I think programs should be put into place to help educate people with the knowledge about this mental illness.

I feel that more education to the general public would decrease the shame factor that comes with mental illness.It is a person's right not to have to share their medical history with someone else. I agree with you in reference to more educational programs for these individuals. If people tell people they are bi-polar or mentally ill it will cause more discrimination against them.
